Best APC2 antibody

Our APC2 Antibody is a rabbit polyclonal antibody raised against a synthetic peptide corresponding to the C-terminus of human APC2. Our APC2 Antibody has been validated for IHC, Peptide-ELISA and WB.

Activated protein C (APC) is an important hemostatic factor that regulates coagulation, endothelial barrier function, and inflammation. We previously engineered a high-affinity humanized chimeric antibody, SR604, that binds to human APC with a KD 60 times greater than Humab-14 and has prophylactic and therapeutic efficacy in mice with hemophilia A or B expressing human APC (humanized hemophilic mice) (Figure 3). Best APC2 Antibody: How to Identify High-Quality Products

The cellular mechanisms of APC2 action are not fully understood. We recently reported that the cytoplasmic domain of APC2 is acetylated, and this acetylation is required for APC2 interaction with microtubules. We therefore examined whether APC2 overexpression alters microtubule dynamics by transfecting L cells and B103 cells with a control or APC2 expression plasmid, and then analyzing cell structures using anti-acetylated or anti-detyrosinated tubulin antibodies. Overexpression of APC2 significantly enhanced the colocalization of acetylated tubulin, and a 2.5-fold or 2-fold increase in the concentration of acetylated tubulin was observed when APC2 expression was increased.

We also performed ephrin-A2 stripe assays with control and APC2 knockdown nasal and temporal axons in cultured hippocampal neurons and found that both the control and APC2 knockdown axons avoided ephrin-A2-Fc stripes, but the APC2 shRNA-treated nasal axons did not (Fig. 7A). Nocodazole treatment, which disruptes microtubule stability, reduced the avoidance of ephrin-A2-Fc by both the control and APC2 knockdown nasal axons. The results suggest that APC2 functions as an MAP-like protein in neurons by stabilizing microtubules, and this function is essential for the normal response of retinal axons to a repulsive guidance molecule in the tectum.

Pros and Cons of Professional Laser Hair RemovalPros and Cons of Professional Laser Hair Removal

While at-home laser hair removal devices have exploded into a popular beauty regimen, professionals still provide better results and are more well-equipped to handle rare side effects. The following article explores the pros and cons of professional laser hair removal at-home options to help you decide which route may be best for you.

Pros of Professional Laser Treatments

The biggest advantage of going to a specialist is that they have access to much more powerful lasers than at-home devices. These machines are able to target hair follicles below the skin’s surface, making them an effective treatment for areas of the body that can’t be reached by other methods. They also have the expertise to customize your treatment and adjust the intensity of the laser depending on your skin type.

Cons of Professional Laser Treatments

While more power and precision mean that professional machines are capable of delivering faster, longer-lasting results, they can be more expensive than at-home devices. Additionally, you might need to make appointments every few months or years to maintain your results.

How to Prepare for Laser Hair Removal

The key to avoiding a negative experience during laser hair removal is proper pre-treatment preparation. To start, shave the area that will be treated two to three days before your appointment. Avoid sun exposure and tanning beds for at least a few weeks before your session, and refrain from other hair removal methods such as waxing, tweezing, coloring, and depilatory creams.

Find a Sleep Apnea Specialist Near MeFind a Sleep Apnea Specialist Near Me

For over 18 million Americans, obstructive sleep apnea (OSA) is an incredibly common and often undiagnosed disorder that can cause serious long-term health problems. Whether you’re experiencing chronic snoring, tiredness, or other symptoms of OSA like heart disease and high blood pressure, it’s important to find a sleep specialist near you who can help.

Sleep apnea specialists near me, or sleep doctors, are medical professionals who have undergone extra training in the diagnosis and treatment of sleep disorders including OSA. Many have a background in another type of specialty such as neurology or dentistry, but they are also trained to perform a variety of tests and procedures to evaluate breathing, brain waves and muscle activity while you’re asleep.

Finding a Sleep Apnea Specialist Near You: What to Look For

When you meet with a sleep apnea specialist, they’ll want to hear your concerns and review your health history before conducting a physical exam. They’ll be looking for signs that your upper airway is constricted, such as a narrow throat or enlarged tonsils.

A full evaluation requires an overnight sleep study, during which a technician will monitor several body functions while you’re sleeping. These include heart rhythm, eye movement, oxygen levels, and breathing. The results of the test are used by your doctor to make a formal diagnosis and can help determine what treatment is right for you. In some cases, a minimally invasive procedure called Inspire therapy may be recommended, which is a simple and convenient alternative to CPAP. The staff at our sleep center is dedicated to providing individualized attention and support throughout the process. From scheduling appointments at times that are convenient for you, to explaining your test results and helping you understand insurance benefits, they’re with you every step of the way.
